Age determination
If the fighter has reached the minimum age of a certain category, he is obligated to fight in this category.
If the fighter will reach the minimum age of a certain category in the current year, he can also choose to fight in this older category.

Attackers
Each fighter can freely choose/bring his attacker.
During one bout (three or four attacks), the fighter can only work with one single person as his attacker.
During the competition day, the fighter can work with more than one person as his attacker.
In the category “youth”, the attacker may not exceed the upper age limit of 18 years.

Attention : if the attacker is also a fighter in the same category and/or another category, both he and his partner will have to bring an extra person that can act as partner in case both fighters come across one another or have to fight at the same time on a different tatami.
